A Toast

Bring out your nice glasses (or poor college coffee mugs) and bust out that cheap champagne you keep in your refrigerator for special occasions - we're stepping out in something new.

For sometime I have been blogging in secret, offering commentary on everything from Paganism to fashion to Feminist issues to everyday college lady life. As a new year arises coming with it my final semester and the beginning of the rest of my life, I thought I would take my commentary and share it with the world, join the rest of the dialogue happening out here on the web.

If we have not met yet, let me introduce myself. My name is Erin, I am a senior at a North Texas university studying English and Theatre. I work as a librarian part time and also sing with a Victorian caroling group during the holidays. I have been a Pagan for roughly 8 years, with the last year becoming very serious as I was initiated as a priestess and dedicated in the service of the Morrigan - the Celtic goddess of death, battle, rebirth, and sovereignty. I am a proud feminist. I have an appreciation bordering on deep love for fashion and history and incorporate both into almost everything I do. My true love for all time is food. Especially pizza and pretty desserts.

It is quite lovely to make your acquaintance.

Here's to trying something new.
Here's to an open dialogue with the world.
Here's to decadence, beauty, and laughter.
Here's to respect, responsibility, and honor.

And of course, here's to you. May you always take a bite out of the apple of life.

Cheers. Salut. Slainte mhar.
